I want to put flowmasters on my 89 GT but I'm not sure which ones I should go with. I know alot of you guys have them on your cars and want to know how you like each one. I'm thinking the 40 series are the ones I need but want some feed back to make sure they will give the deep sound I'm looking for. Thanks.

I forgot to let you guys know the mods on the car. Cold air intake, underdrive pulleys, Mac shorty headers and off road H-pipe, 75mm MAF and Throttle body. Stock intake and heads (for now). I'm also thinking about dumping the exhaust right after the flows. Let me know whats the best sound. Thanks

The most common is the 40 series "also reffered to as a 2 chamber"  They have that signature mustang sound but dumping them after the mufflers will make it quite a bit louder and you will also have resonance inside the car at cruising speeds.  I Highgly recomend tail pipes for a daily driven car.

 We also have a new 2.5" Full Boar Performance Muffler which almost identical to the flowmaster in every aspect, but a lot easier on the pocket book. Check them out here if you havent already.

 I have a 92 gt with all the same mods except the edelbrock 5.0 upper and lower intake and I have the magnflow cat back on it sounds awsome expecially for a dailty driver

Thanks for all the insight guys. I called and ordered the full boar mufflers today and I dont think I will dump the exhaust. This has been very helpfull. Thanks again for all the great advice.
