New to this forum and over in the UK I need some advice I have a 1988 T-Top mustang GT which I am about to do a 5 Lug conversion on with cobra brakes so I'll have discs all round so hopefully she'll stop. I fell in love with the 18x9.5 SVT Cobra R wheels so I bought a set and shipped them back to the UK and they are really wide what I need to know is will they fit my car I know the rears should fit as I have 15x10 on the back at the moment but not sure about the fronts. If anyone can help I would be most grateful and if you've got any pictures of a fox mustang with these wheels on to give me some idea of what she'll look like it would be great.

That size wheel will fit without issue on the rear. However, your fronts are going to give you a challenge especially if the car is lowered. Also, if you are doing the cobra brakes, did you get spindles from a 94-95 car or a 96 up car? The 96 up cars have slight geometry differences that will actually push the wheel outward towards the fender lip and with your wheel size, probably make any rubbing issues worse. If you play with your tire sizes just right, you might can fit these wheels on the car. I will say that its going to be extremely tough to get them to fit properly. -Karson

Thanks for your reply I got the ford racing Cobra brake kit which comes with new spindles, hubs, shafts etc.
