Driver Side Front Wheel Hitting Fender

    Hello,

My driver side front wheel has been hitting the wheel well on the fender. The wheelbase is longer upon measuring. Any ideas on what I need to check to verify what is wrong. The tires and rims are standard and the car did sustain an impact at this fender. The original fender was replaced.

    Thanks

If the car has had an impact there before there is a very good chance you have some frame damage.  Check along the framerail to see is you se any unusual buckles or wrinkles.  Also look at the Firewall for the same things.  Of course the best and most accurate way of doing it would be to take it to a body shop that does frame/ structure pulls.  They normally have laser measuring devices that can tell you where and how much the measurements are.

Thanks for the info.  Are there any front end components I should look at if I cant see any damage to the frame?
