haveing trouble with overheating. installed electric fan, waterpump, 160 t stat, autometer gauge so I have an acurate display. I live in the desert of southern california (near palm springs) the vehicle is running at about 195 to 210 with the fan on, I am not loosing coolant, and the vehicle is not running poorly. the only things I have not replaced is the radiator and headgaskets. summers coming and its only going to get hotter, any help would be appreaciated. thanks.

Do you still have the plastic air deflector that goes underneath the car?  It may not sound like much but it makes a big difference in cooling. The next step in my book would be to go to a larger radiator like our 50resto radiator or a Fluidyne.

yes air deflector is still in place.

do a compression/leak down check.  it may need a new set a HGs.
