My buddy is restoring his 93 and needs an intake plaque but we can't find one anywhere.  Any chance you guys have a lead on them? I know you used to sell them but there not on the site anymore.  The china made replicas still use the same plaque is there any chance of getting them without buying the complete intake? I Also need one  for the orig cobra upper I polished for my own car.  If there not available any longer is there any chance of having KSR reproduce  them, I know they do alot of other mustang parts?  In my seach of the net looking for one it seems I'm not the only one in need and that theres a market for this once easily found part.

I'm sure you have dealt with  http://www.ksreproduction.com/ before any chance you know the amount of volume needed to get a part reproduced?

Thanks for using the LRS forums!  We have been working with FRPP (Ford Racing Performance Parts) to release the reproduction 93 Cobra intake plaque they are using in their intake kits for individual sale.  Our contact at FRPP is on board with this, but it may take some time to cut through all the corporate red tape.  While reproducing it on our own would be possible and would only require a run of about 5000 pieces, the plaque would have to be approved by Ford Licensing.  The total turn around would be a minimum of a year and a half and there is no guarantee that Ford Licensing would approve it for production.  I am very confident that FRPP will come through and when they do, we'll be the first to market with it.  Keep an eye on the website & our monthly emails as it will be listed there first.

Seems a few places have been getting them with prices all over the place and lots of  price gouging trying to play it off that ford hasn't released them.  any chance you guys got a batch yet?

We actually recieved our first shipment of these at the beginning of the month.  It is under part # LRS-9434B & retails for $49.95.  While it is not a Ford part, it is being produced by one of their licenced reproduction companies & is an EXACT reproduction of the original.
