What is an SVE Drift Mustang Wheel?

Share |

SVE-Drift Wheel Pair

Everyone knows that wheels are what makes a car look special and your Mustang is no different. The SVE Drift wheel is the latest offering from the SVE brand that is exclusive to Latemodel Restoration. They feature an aggressive, european style design that mimicks the design of more expensive wheels at a price that cannot be beat! These SVE Drift's are available for purchase now in 18"x9" in bright silver and flat black and are offset for a 1994-04 Mustang.

This 18" offset will also work on a 1987-93 Fox body using a 1994-04 style 5-lug conversion kit.

You may choose to run these 18's on a 2005-12 Mustang if you are looking for a more aggresive offset which pushes the wheels slightly out farther than the factory wheels. Don't worry though, the 19"x9.5" SVE Drift wheels with the correct offset for the 2005-12 Mustangs are coming soon!

Alex & Chris:  I have steeda sport springs on the car with 94-95 spindles up front, as well as 2 steering rack limiters per side. This wheel and tire combo did not pose any issues with rubbing on my car under normal driving conditions. Keep in mind that the 91-93 cars have a larger wheel opening in the fender which helps out when putting larger wheel and tire combo's together.  I did not have a chance to do any "spirited driving" with the kit on the car so under hard braking so I'm not sure if there is any problems in that area. In the rear you will have to eliminate the quad shocks, roll the wheel well openings, and possibly clearance the inner fenders with a large hammer.  Each car is slightly different on how much massaging is needed on the inner fender wells, so you just have to adjust where needed.

Those wheels look good!! As far as 18s looking big on a fox i think it all depends on the wheel! My 92 calypso coupe has 19s right now and looks good! Hell I even autocross on 19s!

Thanks goes out the lmr to offer more wheels to the mustang community

Damn those are nice. But I agree, 18s too big for a fox imo. I'd pick up a set if you had some 17x8s for my SVO for sure.

Please tell me that they will make these in a staggered set 18x9 & 18x10 because I've been looking for a set of wheels like these black ones to go on my Dark Shadow Grey Mach 1.  I have the 17" staggered deep dish Bullitts on it now and these are the wheels I've been looking for

Dude where's the convex look and 10" or better widths for the rear... Like the wheel but 9" is not the greatest for the 94-04 crowd

those black wheels look killer on that SN95 but have to agree with sledge hammer with the 9" width up front and a 10" width out back.

I also love the wheels, but have to say, im not going to beat the inside of the fenders on my 89 Sallen #311! Someone with this company should make a 17x9 set. I'm sure they would fly off the shelves for fox body fans... I know I would be buying one of the first sets, if they did offer it! Think about it SVE....Hmmm?

Been around cars and the car culture my whole life. Built up a 1957 Chevy truck for my first vehicle when I was 14, with a straight 6, split mainfold and 3 one barrel carbs. (It sounded like an angry Cessna!). I have owned a 1997 Camaro, a few trucks, fixed up a wrecked 1995 Mustang convertible and currently drive a 1997 Supercharged Regal GS and the wife drives a 2007 Suburban LTZ. I have a 11 year old girl and an 8 year old girl and a 2 year old girl! I love to play Little Big Planet, Madden football and Singstar on my PS3, golf and just about all sports.
