CroftgateUSA specializes in high quality car detailing products from waterless car wash all the way to interior protectant. CroftgateUSA  has been producing and selling its products since 1998. With new environmental regulations CroftgateUSA went through a metamorphosis becoming what it is today. CroftgateUSA decided to bring a whole new technology to provide safe and high performance products to the masses. A high performance eco-responsible range of waterless car wash and car detailing products alongside the already popular range of low water wash and waxes, leather cleaners, compounds and polishes and many other award winning products. All made wherever and whenever possible, with no petroleum solvents and no listed hazardous ingredients. This is always a plus for us and really got us excited about offering the new product line!

Now, we know the phrase "waterless" usually scares some people away because they automatically think "scratches", but this stood out to us for a quick and easy cleaning solution that some quick detailers can't always fix. We have to say it crossed our minds as well, but we were proven wrong at Mustang Week 2011. Croftgate approached us and offered to detail all of our display cars for free assuring us the prodcuts were top notch and would not harm the paint. That is one offer that was too good to pass up! So first up was my own 2011 Mustang V6 formally known as "Project Six Appeal". I let Frank and his crew from Croftgate loose on my car without hesitation which ended up in a beautifully clean Mustang that only took them about 15 minutes to complete using all of their waterless car wash products. Frank was even nice enough to clean up our F350 in 110 degree heat while demonstrating for a crowd, now that is dedication!

After seeing this happen first hand and being someone who likes a clean car, I thought I would show you all how simple the application was for the new CroftgateUSA products that we will be offering. Yes, once again Project Six Appeal got entirely too dirty, but this was the perfect testing ground for trying out the products first hand and proving the waterless, no-scratch system worked! 

The four products I used for my initial test were the Aquanil-X Waterless Car Wash & Wax, Quick-N-Slick Polish And Paint Protectant System, Multi-Clean Multi Purpose Cleaner, and the Tire Shine. All of these products come ready to use in 32 ounces bottle for a real bang for your buck cleaning system.My method on application was simple, spray it on and wipe it off!

I started off on all the panels of the car using the Aquanil-X waterless car wash. I simply sprayed it on, let it sit for a few seconds and them wiped off with a clean micro-fiber towel making sure not to miss any spots on the paint. Once you wipe the Aquanil-X in, it will leave a hazy type look on the paint, all you have to do is grab a new, clean micro fiber towel and buff this off to a perfectly clean surface.

Next up, I used the Quick-N-Slick polish system on all of the panels as well. This one is very simple, simply spray on and using a new micro fiber towel buff to a perfectly clean and reflective paint surface. I was blown away after these first two steps, that literally took me 30 minutes to fully wash and apply the polish to Project Six Appeal! Check out these before and after pics on different areas of the paint! You will notice I picked some of the dirtier and more noticable places to take pictures.

First up is a very noticable part of the Mustang....the hood. As you can see it was covered in water spots a that were very set and had collected dirt. One of the pics below shows the Aquanil-X on the paint before being wiped away. 

This is a picture of the front of the passenger side quarter panel and also the rear of both driver's and passenger side of the quarter panel. Both of these areas tend to be a dirt trap so I used different camera setting to try and show the dirt and grime as good as possible.

I left the really dirty part for last, the wheels! On the wheels and tires I used the Multi-Clean All Purpose Cleaner and of course the Tire Shine. This process, although a little dirtier, just as easy! I sprayed on the Multi-Clean to the wheel surface and watched the brake dust and road grime slide right down the wheel. After a little time wiping them down with another micro fiber cloth, I had a perfectly clean set of wheels with very minimal effort and used a perfectly environmentally safe cleaner, so there was no risk to a harmed finish. Check out the before and after pics of this one.......I think you will be surprised!

Last, but not least I put a little Tire Shine on a towel and wiped down on the tires for a finishing touch to my waterless car detail! As you can see from all of the pictures above, all of the CroftgateUSA products work exactly like they are suppose to with no scratches or damage of any kind to the paint or finish of the wheels! 

Some people may still be weary of the "waterless" car wash system but I hope our blog on our own Project Six Appeal helps drive away some of the negative connotations that comes along with the term "waterless". We would never risk one of our own paint jobs to a product we didnt think was top notch and definitely wouldn't offer it to all of our customers. With that being said, we are extremely excited to offer the CroftgateUSA product line to all of our customers and are firm believers that once you try this product you will throw the ol' bucket and hose out the door for good!
