It's a rare occasion when we actually perform work on a customers car. However, with the 2010 Camaro being so new & us not having much hands on experience with one, we jumped at the opportunity to throw a few parts on one of our long time customers new Camaro SS. He had already purchased an SLP Axle-Back Exhaust from us & installed it before he came in for this next round of mods. He went for the gusto & purchased an Airaid Cold Air Intake Kit, DiabloSport Predator Programmer, SLP Skip Shift Eliminator, & a Hurst Billet-Plus 2 Shifter. The instructions for all these parts are very well laid out & easy to follow so I wont bore you with all the details, just a brief overview of each part in 4 separate installments
Lets start off with the Airaid Cold Air Intake System 250-243 for 2010 Camaro SS 6.2L V8. After opening the box & laying everything out, I knew that this was going to be a quality part, easy install, & a factory type fit.

Looking at the factory inlet system on the ground & theen looking at the huge throttle body, it's easy to see that there is some improvement to be made!

Like I said earlier, the instructions in the kit are great. The only part that tested my patience was installing the rubber seal on top of the air filter housing. I'm a bit of a perfectionist & it took me a couple of times to get it on there the way I wanted. Other than that - easy, cheesy!

The owner of the car was very pleased with the finished product & has called back several times just ecstatic with the way the car now runs (we also did a tuner at the same time, more on that in another installment).

For the money, the increase in performance, & the improved underhood looks this is a hard mod to beat. See below for a link to the full instruction sheet!
