So
you have a newer 2004,2005,2006,2007,2008 Ford f150 and it's stock. You'd probably like to fit a nice
set of 33'' or 35'' tires under it but maybe you can't seem to justify
spending gobs of money on an expensive lift kit for your daily
driver/tow rig. Well, Latemodel Restoration Supply just may have the solution for you, If you are looking for a budget kit that will not change your ride whats so ever.
Technically, Leveling kits have been around for a very long time. But if you happen to be the lucky owner of a
newer Ford F150 truck, then lifting your F150 truck with a coil
spacer has never been easier! This Ford F150 FTP-AS200 leveling kit F150 spring spacer is very simple to install. You can do it yourself in your driveway with the basic hand tools.
Tools needed 15,17,18mm wrench & deep socket
30mm socket or 1-1/16'' socket
1-1/16 wrench
Floor jack 2 but you can get by with one if you have a couple of floor jacks
Ok 1st things first jack up your Fprd F150 and remove the wheels using a 21mm or 13/16'' socket
Then disconnect the front sway bar, there are 2 ways you can do this one way there is an 18mm bolt under the control arm or you can use a 15mm on top of the contol arm.

Remove the lower strut bolt using the 30mm socket on the nut end and
the 1 1/16” wrench on the bolt end. A note on this nut and bolt…..it is
a beast to break loose, so if you’re not strong enough, go grab a buddy
that is. I’m not kidding. Or a big breaker bar.
Remove the three upper strut nuts using the 15mm socket
Loosen, but do not remove the nut on the ball joint bolt with the 21mm deep socket.

Now you can use a large hammer to break the ball joint loose.
Now you can remove the strut and install the new F150 spring spacer F150 leveling on top of the strut. It will only go on one way. Tighten the nuts with the 15mm wrench
Put the strut back in place. You will be able to tell which direction
it goes back into place because the lower bolt hole of the strut has to
line up and only one bolt is on the engine side of the strut tower. The
strut is also angled at the top to match the angle of the upper strut
tower. Secure the strut into place with the supplied 17mm nuts and tighten.
Bolt the ball joint/upper control arm back to the spindle. It may be
helpful to have a friend jack the lower control arm up a bit while you
lower the upper control arm down to meet the spindle. Have the 21mm nut
handy to thread back on the ball joint bolt because it’s not going to
want to stay in place by itself.. a pry bar would come in handy.
You are now ready to put your wheel and tire back on and repete the steps on the other side.
