If any of you Mustang guys happen to wonder how to install a Mustang Mach1 style Chin Spoiler and new 2001-2004 factory tinted headlights on a 1999-04 Ford Mustang, I'm here to tell you how...
MUSTANG MACH 1 STYLE CHIN SPOILER INSTALLATION
1. You want to open the box and check your part for any defects before you start...
2. This Xenon brand Mustang Mach 1 Chin Spoiler usually comes folded in the box and at ambient temperature, will look distorted and stuck the way it is. The best thing to do is if it's a warm day and sunshining is to lay the spoiler in the sun for about an hour so it warms up and gets flexible and conforms to its original shape. Since it is made from durable black urethane, it bounces right back into shape.

3. While the Mustang Mach 1 chin spoiler is lying in the sun, get everything you need to do the job... sharpie or grease marker, drill with a 1/4" drill bit, and your hardware that is supplied with the chin spoiler (17 pushpins)

4. After you have everything together and your Mustang Chin spoiler is back to its original shape, its time to install the spoiler on the Mustang. There can be a couple ways to doing this, one is place the part to the bottom of the fascia and finding something for example a brick to hold the part up so you can mark holes and so forth, or you can do it the way I did which I found easiest for me. I lined the part up best I could to the bottom of the fascia like a test fit and it fit the car perfectly so I marked some holes where I had it. It may be best to have 2 or 3 people to help you if possible, the more hands to hold the part to the car the easier. I started at the fender and drilled my first hole and stuck the chin spoiler to the Mustang front bumper cover with the supplied push pins, then I went to the next hole, placed a push pin, and then every other hole after that to get the part held up by itself, and when I was finished with every other hole, I went back and drilled the rest of the holes and placed the rest of the push pins into the drilled holes and it was done. The entire Mach 1 style Chin spoiler intallation took about 15 minutes.

5. Now you should be finished with the installation of the chin spoiler, now stand back and check it out! Looks good, right?

INSTALLATION OF 2001-04 FACTORY TINTED HEADLIGHTS
Now that you have your new Mustang Mach 1 Chin Spoiler, a new set of Mustang headlights will really set it off. My factory original headlights have nasty junk building up on the inside of your headlight lens so it made sense to get a new set of headlights. I chose the 2001-04 factory tinted headlights but the 1999-00 factory chrome style would work also.

1. First what you want to do is pop the hood on your Mustang and locate the top of the headlight. There will be a metal tab type stake holding the back of your headlights in, just pull up on those tabs and they just pull right out.

2. After the tabs are out, the headlights feel like they have something still holding them in, but they don't, just give them a good tug to pop the Mustang headlights out of place. After the Mustang headlight is out, there is a plug plugged into the back of the high/low beam bulb. Use a small flat head to gently pop the plugs holding tabs up and slide the plug out of the socket.

3. Next, you will have to unplug the Mustang side marker lights from the socket, just place your fingers on top and bottom of the plug, lift the tabs and push back from the bulb and it should unplug from the socket.

4. Now that the Mustang headlight is out, replace in reverse order and repeat on opposite side and you will have a new nice clean look to your Mustang!
This process takes about 5 minutes to do both sides. With the ease of the installation and the improved night vision, it is a no-brainer to replace your Mustang headlights when they are fogged over. Also, with Latemodel Restoration Supply, there is a one year warranty on all lights so if there is a problem with leaking or fogging which happens sometimes, I know that they can be returned no questions asked within the first year. Why buy your Mustang headlights anywhere else?
