2010 Camaro RS or SS Billet Aluminum Sill Plates

Share |

So you have racked up a few miles on your new 2010 Camaro SS or RS, you look down and notice that your factory sill plate protectors look like this...rippled, wavy, and ultimately upsetting.

Its fair to say that GM did not spend a whole lot of time tinkering with the 2010 Camaro scuff plate protector option, as they are not much more than thick vinyl stickers with the Chevrolet logo. One bad foot placement or excessive wetness could easily worsen this situation. Not to mention dirt and grime that could become lodged under the waves and cause damage to the paint!

Fear not, for Latemodel Restoration Supply has the answer to your 2010 Camaro RS or SS scuff plate protector woes! Our Billet Aluminum Sill Plates will enhance your 2010 Camaro's interior and add plenty of form and function. Made from high quality billet aluminum and available with LINES, BOWTIE logo, or with a variety of text logos including: CAMARO, RS, SS, CHEVROLET, and even BUMBLEBEE (for you Autobot lovers!) They are also available with a brushed satin finish or high polished shine! We took the liberty of installing a set of the 2010 CAMARO BILLET SILL PLATES WITH SS LOGO in the satin finish on our test vehicle. If your 2010 Camaro did not come with the factory scuff plate protector option, then these billet sill plates would be the perfect upgrade!

2010 Camaro Billet Sill Plates - SS Logo & Satin Finish

These billet sill plates for your 2010 Camaro feature a quick and easy installation and the finished product looks factory! First, mask off where the factory scuff plate protectors end so that placement of the new 2010 Camaro billet sill plates will be acurate. ( Just about 5 1/4 inches from the bracket & bolt located on the body

Simply apply a little bit of pressure and slowly pull your factory 2010 Camaro scuff plate protector "stickers" from the lower door opening.

With the decals pulled off, simply wipedown the sill plate area with an adhesive remover to get rid of any left over adhesive. Try our Quick & Easy Adhesive Remover!

Now remove the backing from the 3M double sided tape on the back of the new 2010 Camaro Billet Sill Plate. Lign up the edge of the plate with your masked off line. Note: The sill plates' straight top edge should be located just under the door-to-body weatherstipping. The angled portions of the sill plate will be on the bottom. Align the bottom edge with the body line so the plate stays straight.

Firmly press the sill plate down once it is set in place. Repeat these steps for the passenger side scuff plate area. Step back and enjoy your new 2010 Camaro Billet Sill Plates for your 2010 Camaro RS or 2010 Camaro SS!

Hello, I read about 2010 Chevrolet Camaro RS that the car is equipped with the sticky Pirelli P ZERO tires measuring as wide as 275 mm in the back.

This is an amazing think for a car like this. Also it have halo ring HID headlamps - up front, the seats are very attractive, from two-tone leather scheme and a uniform stitching ties.

I like this car especially on blue color. I see more pictures and I read information about that car on ww.topspeed.com
