Part 1 - 18" SVE Wheels?
Part 2 - 18" SVE Wheels - Renderings and Molds
Part 3 - 18" SVE Wheels - Available For Pre-Order

In part 3 of this blog series I am pleased to announce that the 18 inch 10th Anniversary SVE wheels are now available for pre-order online! I was hoping to post this information sooner but you know how things tend to go, better late than never I suppose. So here they are, you can browse through our wheel pit to find a full list of the wheels that will be available once they arrive.

18 Inch 10th Anniversary SVE Wheels/Wheel & Tire Kits on the LRS Wheel Pit

Keep in mind that all of the product pictures of the wheels on our website are of the 17 inch versions of the same wheel, the majority of the specs will be proportional to the 18's with the exception of the 18x9's which will have less lip than that of the 17x9's. Do you guys know the difference in weight between the chrome ones and the non-chrome ones?

By the way, I think it would be a great idea if you guys designed some sort of "Preview Wheel on Car" program that would show you how the selected wheel would look on a mustang! I'm having a difficult time choosing between chrome, broze, and gunmetal for my black 98 cobra! >.<

@Sil80sx - I weighed the 17x9's since the 18's aren't in yet but the chrome wheels were 1 pound heavier than the painted wheels.

What is the center cap diameter? Is the same for the 17" SVE?

nate said:

@Cobra99svt - Yes, the center caps will be the same diameter as the 17" SVE's.

so do the 18s have that little 90 degree bend where it meets the lip? or does it actually look like the 10th anniv wheels? Also when you preorder do you get charged now or when they ship?

@chris sharp - I know what you are talking about but another company that makes that 17" deep dish anniversary wheels with the 90 degree bend at the lip. As for the your credit card, your card will be pre-authorized when you place your order for the amount of the order but in most all cases the pre-auth will fall off after 3-5 business days and your card will not be charged until your order ships.

nate said:

@chrs sharp - The face of the wheel will look the same as our 17" version. Which is not EXACTLY like the FRPP version but is pretty close.

And which big brake kit are you referring to?

you have answered my prayers...this cars' stock wheels were sick and unique but needed a lip out back to really set them off.  I am getting these in 18's but may need to wait till after i return from afghanistan....  are there better tires offered with this deal?  like the potenza, bridgestone... and can you squeeze 315's out back on the 10" rim without mods?  keep in mind a prokit drop from Eibach.  lastly, rumor has it that deep dish rims are prone to bend under heavy cornering...rumor or fact?

@10thanniHawai'i - As of now we only sell the kits with Sumitomo tires. No, you can't put 315's on a fox without mods, the pro-kit drop will probably make it even more difficult. As far as bend under cornering I have not heard of that, let me ask around.

@10thanniHawai'i - About the wheels bending under extreme cornering, most people I asked said that they had not heard about it being a problem and one said that it was a wives tale and that 9 times out of 10 there was a change in road surface to blame.
