4) Mustang Outer Door Handle Kit
Just about all Fox Body Mustang owners have at one time or another gone for the Outer Door Handle & had it break off in their hand. Most of us instinctively lift with our index finger while pushing in on the top with our thumb! 79-80-81-82-83-84-85-86 Fox Mustangs were less notorious about breaking Outer Door Handles because Ford felt inclined to bless them with Metal Outer Door Handles from the factory. Even with that advantage, they were not immune. The real broken handle bandits were the 87-88-89-90-91-92-93 Fox Mustangs. 5) Mustang Door Lock Actuator Kit
Fox Body Mustangs equipped with Power Door Locks are typically in 1 of 3 different states. 1 - They operate properly. 2 - The key still works in the door but nothing happens when you hit the unlock button. 3 - The key won't even turn in the Door Lock Cylinder, the Door Lock Knob is frozen in the unlock position & nothing happens when you hit the switch. If # 2 or 3 descrbes the state of your Mustang's Power Door Lock situation, the likely culprit is a defective Power Door Lock Actuator. Because you only want to do this job once on your 79-80-81-82-83-84-85-86-87-88-89-90-91-92-93 Fox Mustang, we put together a complete kit containing a pair of Power Door Lock Actuators, a pair of Attaching Rivets, 24 Door Panel Push Pins, & a Door Panel Removal Tool.
