Cant wait for them. From the 3D pic it looks as if the curve and thickness of the spokes are closer to that of the factory tenth. Is this true(?) or will it be the same as 17" SVE wheel. Id like to know! The lip on the front is right on the money!

So the rear's are 10"s? Will that's great news to me and to the customers with fox body 5.0's. Hopefully no hammer needed to fit the 10's. Just let us know when they arrive.

This is sweet I almost bought the deep lip 17's for my 03 Cobra and ended up with Chrome 03 wheels with 10.5's in the back instead.  Looks like I better start saving for some 18 inch Mickey Thompsons!!!!

wow, that front wheel looks awsome! Im really glad you had the lip reduced and also ran the spokes out to the edge instead of cutting them short like the 17's. I have a funny feeling you might sell a couple of these...

@DinoSVT - Yes they are 10" wide. As I understand it 18x10 is much more common than 18x10.5 in Mustang applications.

Hey Nate, is a hammer required to fit those 10's on the fox body Mustang (89' coupe).  What tire size will suit the 10's, 295 or 305?

@clos_50 - More than likely, yes a hammer will be required. You will also need to roll your fender lip, remove your quad shocks and possibly adjust your exhaust. The tire size will more than likely be a 285/35.

But Nathan, I thought it was more common to have 10.5's on a 03-04 Cobra.  I have 03 style 10.5 now. That's why i asked. Im a little disapointed that these wheels will only be available in 10".  We should have the option to choose both 10" or 10.5.  Us 03-04 Cobra guys love the 10.5's. It would be a good idea to have this option. I would buy these in a hearbeat if they were 10.5's for the rears.

Nate, was there a problem producing the 10.5 wheels? Or were you trying to meet at the middle with the SN95 and fox owners???

@DinoSVT - It is quite common for 03-04 Cobra wheels to be 10.5" wide but the vast majority of them are 17" in diameter, Jonathan said that someone made 18" 03-04 Cobra wheels at one point but we never even carried them.

I'm sorry to hear that you had your heart set on the 18x10.5's but more than likely we are going to stick with the most popular convention.

However, I am going to be forwarding our conversation to management to get their take on the situation.

@Cesar & DinoSVT - I asked the Vice President of LRS Scott Springer (scott s) to clarify the decision to offer only 18x10's. He is heading up the development of these wheels. He should respond shortly.

DinoSVT, Cesar and clos_50, we elected to stay with a 10", as it's the same rear size as our other styles of 18"s, and it allows for more options in backspacing and tire fitment.  10" wheels also fit better on fox mustangs.  18" tires really start to get expensive when you start reaching section widths in the 300's. 10's will work with 285's, 295's, or 305's.  Our wheel packages will include 18x9's with 265/35/18's, or 18x9 and 18x10 staggered with 265/35 front and 285/35 rear.  There is an available option to change to 295/30's in the rear, but the price is a little more, and they're 1" shorter and only .3" wider as measured on a 10" wheel.  keeping with a 10" wheel will also allow for the fitment of a much cheaper 275/40/18 tire on 2005-10 Mustangs.

Sounds good just keep the price down for us! I will definately be ordering a set for the Cobra.

That sounds great. Just wondering is a 18/35 the same height of a 17/40?  Or would the 18/40 be taller (same as 17/45)? I was thinking if I should go with the 35's or the 40's, what do you guys think?

The 275/40/17 and the 285/35/18 are the same height, What year is your car?

Dan the design SHOULD clear the brembo brake kits.  The reason I say should is that they are still in production and we have not been able to mount them on a vehicle. From all I have seen so far they will clear but we will not be 100% positive until we bolt a set on a car.

Do you guys have an estimated release date?

edavis- My Mustang is an 89' coupe (mm coil-overs & panhard). Currently my stang sits on 245/45/17 (98' GT wheels). I'm also using the FR M-2300k kit.

clos_50  if you go with 18X10'' in the rear I would try to go for the 285/35/18 you shouldn't have to do much at all the clear.

SlipNSlide You will be able to run the stock size center caps, But wheres the fun in that ? J/K But the LRS-1130BL-K will work just fine.

Will a 315 MM wide tire fit on the 10" wheel? Ive got an 04 cobra and have been waiting for these wheels for a long time.

Hi Nathan I'm building a show plus "go" 2010 gt with a 6.3L Mod block , I like this wheel and I need something that will hold the power , sence your only makeing a 10 incher do you know of any companies that can cutt and wide'n the rim ..... I'm not worried about cost at all .
