When Ford released the info and pcitures of the 2010 Mustang you knew it was only a matter of time before the aftermarket companies started adding their own personal touches to the car. The 2010 ROUSH 427R was revealed to the public March 18th at their Michigan assembly plant. Both coupe and convertible versions rolled out to great the press and public eye for the first time.

Exterior modifications include Traditiononal stripe package, New Front Fascia and Front Splitter, Rear Fascia, Side splitters, and a 3 piece rear wing. The 427R with come standard with 18" wheels while optional 20" versions are available as well.




Power will come from a ROUSHcharged 4.6 Liter 3 Valve engine. Subtle underhood changes have been made to the air inlet tube, and radiator hoses to achieve a cleaner overal look for the engine bay. The Intercooler is a larger unit that has been designed to give the car more ground clearance than previous models. With that larger intercooler also comes a larger reservior that holds twice the volume as it's predicessors did. Engineers drove thousands of miles and spent countless hours developing new suspension components giving you the best blend of performance and ride comfort. In doing so they claim this is the best suspension package they've come up with yet for the Mustang. Put that together along with the styling and power that the 427 R offers and cover it with a 3 year/ 36,000 mile warranty and you've got a package that is hard to beat.

Now if I can only wait for the Limited Edition versions to be released. Maybee we'll see something like the Black Jack, or P-51 come out again. Whatever it is I know the ROUSH team has something unique up their sleeves.
