24 hours of LeMons

Share |

In case you havent' heard of this race, here's the scoop:

Teams are to compete with cars valued at $500 less, for 24 hours, in various events.  12 hours into the race, one team is awarded with cash prize, and another is awarded with an elaborate car smashing.  Kinda cool.  In the end, the survivors win trophies, plaques, and bags full of nickels.

Although none of us are directly competing, we've sponsored a couple of nasty Fox bodies for the Texas event.  Here's a link to the 24hours website, as well as one of the teams we're sponsoring, and plenty of videos.

 This could get ugly.....

 Enjoy.

With many thanks to Late Model Restoration we took the car to the track last sat with very good results. Nothing fell off the car the whole day! We had a few carb issues but we should have that fixed soon. Here are a couple of updated pics. Again, thanks to LMR for all their help.
