New Wheels for Our Challenger

Share |

We finally installed a set of wheels on our 08 Challenger.

We went with the Nova by KMC, size 22" x 9" in the front and 22" x 11" in the rear. We sell these wheels individually as well as in a complete kit mounted and balanced with wheels and tires.

Also check out our complete line of wheels for the new challenger.

Here are some pics. Let us know what you think!

What size tires did you go with? How do you like the rim sticking out of the wheel well? Definitely old school.

Fronts are 265/35/22 rears are 295/30/22. I think the wheels look good but I am not really a fan of how they stick out in the rear. I would prefer they tuck and for the car to be lowered.

Lowering should be in store, stay tuned!

@weston - I think we added a spacer to get them to fit but I am not sure of the size I think they require either 1/4" or 1/8" spacer to fit but one of the guys in research is checking in on it for me and I will let you know once they report back. As far as vibrations, there were none. These wheels have the Dodge specific bolt patterns, from what I hear some companies are selling Mustang wheels to fit a Challenger because the bolt patterns are really close but because of this there is a little bit of slop when you put them on a Challenger. These wheels have the Dodge bolt pattern and are vibration free.

Thanks for the responce. Please let me know what king of spacer it ended up needing. It is a little scary though putting that much more stress on the studs.

My name is Nathan and I am a C# developer by trade. My favorite movies are A Clockwork Orange and Fight Club, my favorite TV shows are Arrested Development and The Office. I also enjoy motocross and supercross. I am happily married and have two little girls. I became an auto enthusiast at age 16 when I purchased a 1988 GMC C1500 long bed, it was two-tone blue and ugly as sin. But it had a 350 and I flogged on it regularly. It's been all down hill from there. My current project is an 89 Chevy C1500 short bed.
