Dodge Challenger Sill Plates

Share |

These sill plates (Part# DCP-82211234) are a very easy way to dress up all Challengers. Installation takes 5-10 minutes tops. The sill plates are held in place by three strips of adhesive tape. Before installing the sill plates make sure you clean the painted surface. To help the adhesive stick, you need to have a good clean surface. Do not use any oil based cleaners or cleaners that will leave a residue behind. Before removing the tape covers I mocked up the sill plates on the door sills. I used the plastic interior scuff plate as a guide to make sure the sill plates installed in the same location on both sides. Once the location was picked, I removed the tape covers and carefully pressed the sill plates down. Once your done just sit back and admire!!

Note: remember to set them down steady; the adhesive is very sticky. Once you have the sill plates down, make sure you hold some pressure on them to insure the adhesive has fully bonded to the car.

@Joe - If it were me, I would buy some more double sided adhesive and try to re-apply it.
