  • SVTOA Meet

It was a blast! This was the first time I have ever done anything like this. The only racing I have ever done is on the drag strip.... this was a huge difference. I can't wait to go back and do some more racing. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

  • My 2004 GMC Sierra Daily Driver

So a new adventure starts for me. After the recent sale of my 1999 ¾ ton crew cab Chevy and 1967 ½ ton Chevy, I will start on a new project. I have purchased a 2004 ½ ton crew cab GMC 2 wheel drive. This is going to be my daily driver so I can't get to wild. My plans include all of the normal modifications such as a weld on roll pan, tailgate flip...

  • Want better handling without breaking the bank?

Well after driving our 2008 mustang it just wasen't there, It needed something. So I decided to look into a set of springs. But there are so many kits out there that range anywere from $160 up to $300 so I jumped on some fourms and still couldn't find anything that would win me over. I have had Steeda springs in a 02 gt that I had, and a 97...

  • Drag Radials

I have just about burned thru my first set of drag radials in just over 1000 miles. It was a pair of BFG 295/35/18 drag radials and they were a decent tire and hooked very well but they just didn't last very long. The car is making almost 600 hp but I took it easy on the tires and never once took it to the track so I would have expected the tires...

  • LRS now owns a piece of Latemodel Mustang History!

It's the 1989 Mustang Dominator GTA! It's a car that JBA built brand-new in 1989 for a high-speed challenge for Road & Track magazine. The car competed against high-end exotics as well as Gottlieb's famous "big red" 1969 Camaro and other factory built concept/tuner cars. The JBA dominator Mustang ran 173 miles per hour after...

  • Wheels

So according to everyone I run into... my car needs some wheels and drop. Well I am now getting serious about looking for wheels; however, the problem seems to be in the fact that now there are so many different types of wheels that I do not know which to choose. I really want to give the car a different look compared to the Bullitt and FR500s that...

  • Just like the old days?????

Just like the old days! Not so much the same anymore! Fox Coupes are a hot ticket where as the old Classic Coupe ( 1965-73 ) not so desirable as the fastbacks and convertibles from their respective time period. Strange how things work out. The Fox Coupes seem to bring the money, next is the Hatch, and then the Convertible. I personally have never been...
