power and driveability

Most people want a fast street car that drives like stock, no low rpm surges, still get decent mpg, and be fun to drive. Its hard to beat forced induction if these are your goals. Whether its a blower or a turbo you usually can't go wrong. There is nothing like spending a day working on your car and picking up a hundred or more horsepower without taking off a valvecover.

I have owned several mustangs, very few remained stock, they have ranged from pushrod to modular, 281 ci to 408 ci, nitrous, blower and n/a. All street driven cars. The most streetable ones while still being pretty quick were the blown ones. My current car is a 1999 cobra with a vortech on it, the driveablilty far surpasses the previous cars that made similar power. It feels pretty close to driving a stock car when out of boost and still gets decent mileage. Forced induction is definetly the way to go.

I have a 95 Mustang gt convertable that is stock with the exception of cobra III Halibrands with 275 40 17 sumitomo tires. The ride is unbearable , very harsh and you feel every little imperfection in the road. Does anyone have any experience with a suspension combo that can be adjusted to still give good handeling but without the harsh ride.?
