WHAT EXTERIOR ACCESSORIES ARE THE MOST NOTICED IN APPEARANCE?

Share |

My wife Diane has 4 pictures of me on her desk at work. You would think that is a bit excessive til you see the pics. It is one with me in a FOO-MAN-CHU and one of me in a mustache. There is one of me clean shaven and finally one of me with the gotee.

The reason that she has 4 of them, is because it totally changes the way I look! She gets co-workers all the time asking who the 4 guys are. When she tells them it is the same guy, they are surprised and say "Oh yea...I see it now" It is funny that just a patch of hair, shapped differently can make that much of a change.

I retired from the Navy and was walking down the aisle in a store and say a friend of mine from the Navy. I grabbed him and said...HEY...and he almost took a swing at me. "DUDE" he said "I don't know who you think I am but.....wait a minute.....BRYAN? Is that you?" He said that the gotee totally changed the shape and look of my face.

Here is MY question to you........What changes the vehicle the most appearance wise?? WAIT....now remember that different colors require different accessories. I would put red calipers on a red car....but not white calipers on a white car. Get my drift? Tinted windows might not be noticed on a black car...but they are on a red car.

Is it the rims, tires, headlights, tailights, or something as simple as a white colored Ford oval on the back of your White 2003 Mach 1. I get more compliments on that little item, than the 1000.00 rim and tires. It amazes me!!!

So here ya go...WHAT SINGLE EXTERIOR ACCESSORY IS MOST NOTICEABLE AS FAR AS APPEARANCES??????  POST UP.......

From further away... it is the wheels, tint and stance(lowered or not) of the car.

Up close... I like the little details that make a car different from all the others on the road.

Now I am setting here trying to figure out what needs to be done to the new GT.

Rims always change the look on a Mustang, but a clean set of headlights go a long way.  I have 2 Fox Mustangs so I look at the wheels. I look to see if people that have a fox body have converted to five lugs and if so if they went the extra mile and changed to 4 wheel disc brakes.

To have a hot Stang is one thing, but a hot chick sitting beside you in that hot Stang is a nice accessory as well. Lol!

I think that it depends on the car. If you have a fox car, maybe new paint is what will set it off, or headlights if the paint is OK. If you have an SN95 car, wheels and springs make it look the best, and for an 07, you gotta go with stripes and maybe wheels, or maybe an "Eleanor" body kit fits your taste. Not mine, but to each his or her own!

Gotta be the paint and wheels.  Those two items alone can change the entire look of any Fox Mustang.

If got one for you. How about a set of duel fully chromed 72" side pipes on a 89  5.0 LX Conv. Clear Diamond  6 piece headlight set  and a chrome clear euro tail light set. I get many a thumbs up no matter where I may be.
