As I stated in my Top 10 Fox Mustang Restoration Parts Blog , Mustang Door Lock Actuators are typically in one of three conditions. They operate properly, the key still works in the door but nothing happens...

OK, so I used to be a big NASCAR fan and used to love watching that black #3 Chevy. Since that wreck at Daytona I still watch a few races but not like before. I will usually watch the Bristol, Texas, and Talladega races if I don't have anything else to do. When the truck races came out in the mid...

When the 2005 Mustang first hit the scene, it was coveted by many because of it's retro styling, great performance and the opportunity for lots of aftermarket goodies to compliment the Mustang's throw back body lines. With a strong running 4.6L V8 in the Mustang GT, the power was there but people...

I have a 93 5.0 Mustang. When the car is cold I take off in 1st then change to 2nd and get on the gas and the car backfires...LOUD!!!!!! Not everytime though. When the car is warm no problem. I changed the fuel filter thought maybe it was clogged. It showed some metal shavings which means the fuel pump is going. Drove the car for about a week the same...
I have a 93 5.0 and I just convertered and everything works fine didn't need to change a thing.
somebody else just told me that too. makes sense cause my 88 dont have an airbag but the donar car did, i just unplugged the crash sensors and kept my original steering wheel.. what do i need to unplug to make it quit??
i bought a 1990 that was chiming the guy i bought i from told me it was the seatbeat. after a few frustrating hours of looking for the problem it ended up being the chime for the airbag. i just told it out.i no of a few other people that had the same problem
I have been restoring a 1987 GT and am having problems putting together the doors. Can some one send me a pic or schematic of the door and lock rods connected to the door handle?? This would be a great help. Thanks
I am redoing the interior latches rods and clips. Some clips are missing and I cannot get the rods back together. Does anybody have a schematic or picture of what the lock rods and door latch rods look like in the door??
Hi, When I bought my 84 Capri it was without an engine nor any of the underhood hoses. It looks like one of the upgrade kits you sell has everything except the evaporator (the part in the dash). Is this correct? If so, is there any difference in the evaporators between old and new refridgerants? Thanks, Chris
Thanks for the info. I guess I should have also added I would be replacing the springs too. Probably going with a slight lowering spring kit such as the Eibach Pro Kit or the H&R's with a slight drop in ride height. I will probably stick with the 9's just to keep things simple.
On our wheel and tire kits, the 18" and 17" kits have the same overall rolling diameter as each other. With the size of wheel and tire kit you are wanting to run, and depending on if your car is lowered, you will more than likely have to modify things to fit. I have a WTK-1007SCU on my 92 LX hatch that has been lowered and I had to Roll all...
Are the Run-channels seated all the way in the door chanel? I know I had some issues like that before but the Runchanel W/S wasn't seated all the way in the chanel. Once it was everything fit fine.
The newest yeat that will bolt up without making haedlight wiring changes would be an 86 but you will have to change the side moldings, rear bumper cover, and hood as well. If you don't want to change those the newest year would be 84. Then you just have to change the front bumper cover and hood.
I have an 88 GT hatchback. In the near future, I will be switching to a 5-lug conversion. Here is my question. I like the deep dish bullits, and want to go with the biggest wheel tire combo I can without having to modify my wheel wells. Will 18x10's do the trick in the back, or is the 18x9 combo the widest I can go. In addition, can I do the 18x9...
